Historical Hotel in the Center of Palermo

Discover Sicily’s beauty from the historical capital

An Hotel in Palermo, in the heart of the historical center

Our location is in the historical center of Palermo, a town where chaos and beauty live together in a continuous pattern of contradiction, leaving a bittersweet taste. Palermo represents something extremely emotional, either positive or negative. Palermo is so rich in history that a single tale doesn’t do it justice. It has to be lived, breathed, explored and analyzed.
The history behind Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa is a small portion of the city’s history. The rest lies between the small streets of the historical center, along the port and seaside strolls, and in every piece of Monreale mosaic.

Piazza Borsa is exceptionally located and allows guests to easily reach the main attractions, including two of the oldest and most popular street markets: Mercato del Capo and Vucciria. A 15 minute walk will take to you Teatro Massimo, one of the oldest and most important opera theatres in all of Italy, as well as the Politeama theatre. An easy walk to Palermo Centrale, the central station, and across the street from Via Roma (one of the most important avenues in Palermo). Additionally, the shopping areas of Via Ruggero Settimo, Via libertà and via Principe di Belmonte are at close proximity to the hotel.
Other nearby attractions include the Four Corners, the Modern Gallery of Palermo, the Salinas Museum and Abatellis Palace (home of the famous portrait “Annunziata” by Antonello da Messina).

For an holiday in Sicily, the location of Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa offers a wide range of possibilities to live a unique stay, either a family vacation in Sicily, a romantic weekend, a cultural or relaxing travel in Sicily.
